Brett Liotta, the Founder and Principal Consultant of ClearRock Solutions, has been developing web and database applications since 1999.  He is a Certified Advanced ColdFusion Developer and holds a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton.  He also has a Brainbench (ISO 9001) Master Certification in ColdFusion MX, and ranks Top 5 in Florida according to Brainbench rankings.  He is currently working towards a Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) certification.

Brett started the consultancy out of his apartment in Boca Raton, Florida around the time of the 2001 tech/dot-com fallout.  During this time he also worked as a Software Developer at one of the areas largest employers, Spherion Corp in Ft. Lauderdale.  Once his client-base grew enough to provide him with a steady source of work, he decided that he liked this freelancing thing much better than his job in corporate america.  Today, ClearRock Solutions has grown to become one of the most trusted providers of application development and database programming services in South Florida - known in particular for their high expertise, professionalism, partner-level support and fast response times.  "I've always felt I was in the business of solving problems.  Being a techie was second to the primary objective.. designing and implementing a real solution, a working and well-supported solution.  I believe that's what makes us different," Brett says.

Alongside Brett's many technical accomplishments, he enjoys working with people the most.  He says, "My favorite part about this job is that I get to work together with people towards a common goal."

Outside the office Brett enjoys outdoor activities such as tennis, golf, rollerblading, fishing, and downtime with his dog (a german shepherd). He is also a very big music fan - everything from classical to rock.
